Terms of Service

Fundezy ("we", "us") provides a free online investment-education platform: courses, and a simulated trading environment that imitates the mechanics of a professional desktop trading platform. Access requires an account: sign in with an email address, or through a Google account if you have one. By using the service you accept these terms.

Courses are delivered online and are self-paced. Fundezy is not a school registered or provisionally registered under Hong Kong's Education Ordinance (Cap. 279).

Fundezy provides this platform and its online courses only. Where the platform is used as a teaching aid in classes or programmes run by third parties (for example by an instructor at an educational institution), that instruction is provided by those parties and their institutions, not by Fundezy.

Fundezy is a trading name of Slashiee Pty Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong (Business Registration No. 72760814), with its registered office at Room 3602, Level 36, Tower 1, Enterprise Square Five, 38 Wang Chiu Road, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong. All accounts, balances, positions, prices, profit and loss on this platform are simulated. Nothing here is a brokerage service: we hold no client money, execute no real orders, and make no markets. Trading results on Fundezy — including backtest results — are not indicative of real-money performance.

The prices used by the simulator are delayed or near-live (depending on the instrument) and are derived from third-party market-data providers. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or unavailable, are provided for education and simulation only, and must not be relied on for any real trading, investment, or pricing decision. The service is not a market-data service. Market data is provided by third parties — including Data sourced by Tiingo.

Educational content is general information, not personalized investment advice, and does not consider your objectives or circumstances. We are not your fiduciary, broker, or financial adviser. Fundezy is not licensed or regulated by any securities or financial regulator, and the educational services provided here do not require such licensing. Any trading decision you make is yours alone.

You agree not to abuse the platform: no attempts to disrupt or overload the service, no uploading malicious code (Expert Advisors run in a restricted sandbox with resource limits), no scraping at volume, no systematic extraction, redistribution, resale or other commercial exploitation of market prices or other data obtained through the service, no use of the service where you lack legal capacity to accept these terms.

The service is provided free, "as is", without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any feature, and may modify or discontinue features. The trading simulator and backtester run on cloud infrastructure; education content may remain available while trading features are down.

You retain rights to code (e.g. Expert Advisors) you upload and journal notes you write. You grant us the limited right to store and process them to operate the features you use. Simulated trading records exist to run the platform and leaderboard.

On completing all courses you may receive a digital Certificate of Completion showing your Fundezy account display name. A Certificate records only that you completed the program. It is not academic credit, a degree, diploma, or a professional or licensed qualification; it is not accredited or recognised by any regulator, accreditation body, or educational authority (including the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission), and it does not satisfy any licensing, employment, or regulatory requirement anywhere. Nothing in a Certificate or in our marketing should be read as a promise of trading profits or employment outcomes. We may decline to issue, or may revoke, any Certificate obtained by fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of these terms.

The service — including all market data, prices, historical data, educational content and simulated results — is provided free, "as is" and "as available", without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied. Market data and historical data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable, and simulated results may differ from real markets.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage — including lost profits, trading losses, loss of data, or indirect or consequential loss — arising from or connected with the service, your reliance on educational content, data or simulated results, or any unavailability or error in the service. If we are nevertheless found liable, our total aggregate liability to you is capped at the total amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose (which, as the service is free, will ordinarily be zero).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or content you upload or make available through the service.

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on this page.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the service, are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction.
